Born in Iran in 1952, Farnaz began her art career studying Fine Art in High School. After graduating, she then moved to Rome, Italy and studied at the prestigious Accademia di Belle Arti Di Roma. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Fine Art and Interior Design in 1975. Over the next few decades, she has explored interior architecture, ceramic sculptures, porcelain paintings, wall paintings and the restoration of antique oil paintings and artifacts. She has participated in over 30 collective exhibitions throughout Iran, Italy and the United States. She has also had her work published in several magazines such as Romantic Home, Tea Time and Romantic Country.
Farnaz currently lives with her husband in Los Angeles, California and has been teaching art out of her home studio for over 30 years. Porcelain paintings have been her greatest passion over the last decade and her favorite hobby. She enjoys teaching her students the techniques of painting on white china and creating her own one of kind designs.
